    POS Captain

    Job Summary

    • The First Money Sales executive will oversee and manage a network of POS agents, ensuring smooth daily operations, optimal transaction performance, and excellent customer service delivery.
    • The role requires strong supervision, field monitoring, and operational coordination.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and support POS agents to ensure efficient daily transactions.
    • Monitor agent liquidity (cash/float levels) and escalate shortages promptly.
    • Ensure POS terminals are functional and report faults or downtime.
    • Track daily transactions and prepare performance reports.
    • Resolve customer and agent complaints quickly and professionally.
    • Conduct routine field visits to agent locations for monitoring and support.
    • Train new and existing agents on POS usage, compliance, and fraud prevention.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, KYC, and regulatory standards.
    • Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent transactions.
    • Drive agent productivity, retention, and network expansion.
    • Serve as a liaison between agents and management.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any related field.
    • 1–3 years experience in POS operations, fintech, or agent banking.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Good understanding of POS transactions and financial operations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel/reporting tools.
    • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

    • Field operations management.
    • Customer service orientation.
    • Analytical and reporting skills.

    Work Structure:

    • Field-based role (movement within Falomo & Awolowo axis).
    • May require weekend or extended hours based on operational needs.
