Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to manage, retain, and grow an assigned customer portfolio.
• The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, understand clients’ financial and business needs, drive the utilisation of lending products, and ensure sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain an assigned portfolio of customers and serve as the primary relationship contact.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Drive portfolio growth, customer retention, and product utilisation.
• Understand customers’ business and financial needs and recommend suitable financing solutions.
• Monitor customer activity, repayment behaviour, and overall portfolio performance.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and increasing customer value.
• Work with Credit and Recovery teams to maintain a healthy portfolio and manage emerging risks.
• Develop strategies to achieve assigned portfolio growth and revenue targets.
• Ensure customer documentation and account information are accurate and up to date.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams for timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and portfolio activities.
• Ensure all financing activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable Islamic finance principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, relationship management, or portfolio management.
• Proven experience managing and growing a customer portfolio.
• Experience in Islamic banking/finance is highly preferred, particularly with Taj Bank, Jaiz Bank, or similar institutions.
• Good understanding of lending/financing products, customer assessment, and portfolio management.
• Strong commercial and business development skills.
• Ability to grow and retain customer relationships.
• Good understanding of portfolio risk and repayment behaviour.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with targets in a fast-paced financial services environment.
