Responsibilities:

• Create a compelling show format that balances information, entertainment, and audience engagement.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with experts, thought leaders, and individuals directly affected by socio-economic issues.
• Present complex concepts and data in an accessible and engaging manner to captivate a diverse audience.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop engaging show segments, inviting relevant guests and experts.
• Stay up-to-date with current events, research findings, and emerging trends in socio-economic fields to ensure the show remains current and relevant.
• Engage with the audience through social media platforms, responding to comments, and soliciting feedback to improve the show.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards, demonstrating respect, inclusivity, and sensitivity in all interactions and content.

Requirements:

• BSc/HND in any relevant field.
• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience as a talk show host, podcast host, or similar role, preferably with a focus on socio-economic issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Charismatic on-screen or on-air presence, with the ability to engage and captivate listeners/viewers.
• Proficiency in conducting interviews and facilitating discussions with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of podcasting or broadcasting techniques, and content distribution. 
• Passion for creating awareness, promoting social change, and making a positive impact through meaningful discussions.
