Podcast Host/Producer at Visual Media

The Role:

We’re looking for a creative and dynamic Podcast Host/Producer to launch and lead our new podcast series. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, startups, and African innovation, and who can translate this passion into engaging audio content.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and produce a regular podcast series.
• Research and curate content focusing on tech, startups, and innovation in Africa.
• Conduct interviews with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and other relevant guests.
• Edit and polish episodes to ensure high audio quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the podcast and grow our audience.
• Stay updated with podcast trends and suggest creative ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience in podcasting, radio broadcasting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the African tech and startup ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and interview skills.
• Proficient in audio editing software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your podcasting or broadcasting work.
