Job Summary:

• The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures within the water production factory. This includes ensuring optimal functioning of water lines, piping systems, valves, filters, and other water-handling systems that support production operations and facility hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and fixtures related to water production and general facility operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in plumbing systems (e.g., leaks, blockages, pressure drops).
• Maintain and repair pumps, filters, valves, pressure regulators, and storage tanks.
• Ensure proper functioning of water supply lines to production machines and bottling systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to reduce downtime.
• Monitor water flow, pressure levels, and drainage systems for optimal operation.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical technicians during installations or major repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of plumbing tools and materials.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Recommend system upgrades or improvements to enhance efficiency or meet new regulations.

Qualifications:

• Trade Test / National Diploma (ND) in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven plumbing experience, preferably in an industrial or factory setting.
• Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, water flow mechanics, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plumbing schematics.
• Familiar with safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
