    Plumber

    Job Summary:

    • The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This includes ensuring that all work complies with safety and building codes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Installation of Plumbing Systems and Fixtures:

    • Install and maintain piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing systems.
    • Conduct installations in accordance with local plumbing codes and manufacturer specifications.

    Maintenance and Repair:

    • Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
    • Repair or replace defective components such as faucets, pipes, and toilets.

    System Testing and Inspection:

    • Inspect and test plumbing systems to identify any issues or areas needing repair.
    • Use diagnostic tools and pressure gauges to check for proper system operation.
    • Ensure that all completed work is tested and inspected for compliance with quality and safety standards.

    Emergency Response:

    • Respond to emergency plumbing calls and resolve urgent issues promptly.
    • Provide quick and effective solutions to mitigate water damage or hazardous conditions.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
    • Provide detailed reports to the Maintenance Supervisor on completed projects and any follow-up actions required.

    Health, Safety, and Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all plumbing work.

    Customer Service and Communication:

    • Communicate with clients or team members regarding project timelines, costs, and any potential issues.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction on every project.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training preferred.
    • Valid plumbing license or certification, where applicable.
    • Proven experience as a plumber in a commercial, residential, or industrial setting.
    • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, heating, and drainage systems.
    • Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.
    • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights when required.
