Our client in the energy sector involved in engineering, procurement and construction is looking in to hire a pipping/pipeline engineer to join the team.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a piping/pipeline engineer you will be required to design and construct pipe systems for transportation of variety of substances such as waste, oil and gas etc. You help perform maintenance and repairs and conduct quality control tests on pipelines and pump systems. You develop designs for pipeline systems, construct and install as well as perform site surveys.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

• Surveying installation sites of a piping system and examine the land for any irregularities
• Drawing blueprints for piping systems
• originating preliminary project Scope
• Responsible for generating the initial project scope for all of the works that need to be completed in order to install a piping system.
• Participate with decision makers in cost management meetings to ensure their designs reflect the parameters of the project’s budget.
• Assist in sourcing construction materials for piping systems

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Must have been engaged in Stringing, welding, coating of welding joints, trap pit, excavation, lowering, tie-in etc.
• Must have knowledge of Basic, FEED & DEED
• Adept in DEED for Onshore and offshore piping and pipeline systems
• Installation Overview for Piping & pipeline Systems Onshore and Offshore
• Field Development and Facility Revamp
• Use and Familiarity with Relevant Piping & pipeline Design Codes and Standard
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a pipeline engineer(intermediate)
