Pipe fitter is a craftsman ( NCCER Certified Plus or local equivalent) with specialized training and Skill Verification with reading blueprints and interpreting drawings to layout and construct piping spools associated with industrial piping installations.
This individual is very well versed in all types of metals and other piping materials.
The pipe fitter should also be well versed in rigging and be able to install piping systems of varying size and configuration.
Requirement:
Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the craft.
