Pipe Fitter – Level 1 at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

• We are looking for an entry-level Pipe Fitter (Level 1) to assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems under supervision.
• This role offers hands-on training and exposure to mechanical and industrial installation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and installation of pipes and fittings.
• Support senior fitters in assembling piping systems.
• Clean, measure, and cut pipes according to specifications.
• Maintain work tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.

OHSE Responsibilities:

• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe conditions and hazards immediately.
• Participate in safety training and toolbox talks.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Test or Technical Certificate.
• 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or plumbing works.

Skills & Abilities:

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.
• Eagerness to learn pipefitting trade skills.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in pipefitting.
• Understanding of basic mechanical principles (training provided).
