Pipe Fitter at Avant Halogen

Job Summary

• To diligently, meticulously and accurately assemble, install and repair pipe supports, systems and related equipment for heating, cooling, water, sprinkling and drainage systems as assigned by team leader and in line with the company’s highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Able to identify tools relevant to the trade.
• Loading and offloading of materials on site.
• Able to carry out pipe insulation.
• Help to prepare resin and do flat areas.
• Have basic knowledge of various pipe sizes and insulation techniques.
• Able to carry out duct work fiber insulation.
• Can assist in carrying out pipe installation (straight).
• Measure and mark pipes as required.
• Competently attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures.
• Expertly mount equipment such as FCUs, AHUs...etc.
• Able to read, interpret and implement drawings.
• Inform team leader on completion of daily tasks.
• Show interest, ability and charisma to be able to coordinate a small team.

Requirements

• HND / OND / Trade Test Certificate will be accepted
• 3+ year experience as a Pipe Fitter technician.
• Knowledge of relevant machines and tools, their design, their uses, repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of tools, materials and approved methods relevant to installation, repair and maintenance of pipes.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards and procedures as well as HSE policies.
• 21 years and above.
