Physiotherapist at Summit Orthopaedics

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a physiotherapist you would help patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury or ageing to improve their movement. You will devise and review treatment programs using manual therapy (such as massage), therapeutic exercise and electrotherapy. As well as treating patients, you would also promote their health and wellbeing and provide advice on how to avoid injury and self-manage long-term conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess injured patients and diagnosing of current health status and level of injury.
• Establish treatment plan and carry out treatment and rehabilitation using manual therapy techniques and active rehabilitation programs.
• Involvement in patient education and follow up communication with patients either by phone, email or in person
• Provide a patient experience that is unlike any other clinic experience for our patients.
• Liaising with professionals such as doctors and nurses.
• Providing education and advice about exercise and movement.
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the profession

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensed
• Accurate charting and record keeping for all patients
• Experience in Pully Therapy will be an advantage
• Master  and/or Experience with in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine rehabilitation coverage will be an advantage
• Resident in Lagos preferably Egbeda and its environs
