Job Objective

• Conceptualize and plan photo shoots based on project requirements and creative briefs.
• Work with the Marketing manager to develop content for the marketing channels in line with the agreed timelines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality photography, ensuring proper composition, lighting, and framing.
• Collaborate with creative teams to understand project objectives and deliver visual content that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Edit and retouch photos to enhance image quality and maintain consistency with brand guidelines.
• Manage equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for use.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance the quality of visual content.
• Coordinate with clients, models, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of photo shoots.
• Organize and maintain an efficient digital asset management system for easy retrieval and storage of images.
• Ensure compliance with copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions for image use when required.

Experience and Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in relevant discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Competency and Skills Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and subjects.
• Proficient in photography equipment and software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current trends in photography and a willingness to stay updated on industry advancements.
• Flexibility to adapt to various photography genres, from portrait and product photography to events and lifestyle shoots.
