Job Description

• The Pharmacy Trainee will assist the community pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and customer service.
• This role provides hands-on experience in prescription handling, patient counseling, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications accurately under supervision.
• Support prescription verification and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide basic patient counseling on medication use and storage.
• Maintain inventory control, including stock checks and expiry monitoring.
• Help in record-keeping and documentation for prescriptions and controlled drugs.
• Ensure customer service excellence by addressing patient inquiries professionally.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Participate in health promotion activities within the pharmacy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Pharmacy (or currently enrolled in a pharmacy program).
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug classifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
