Job Description

• We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
• The successful candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
• Provide guidance to customers on the proper use of medications and over-the-counter products.
• Maintain accurate patient records and process prescriptions efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and address concerns related to pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies regarding the handling and dispensing of medications.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean, organized, and functional workspace.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations, including cash handling and maintaining accurate records.

Educational Qualifications

• A Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies from a recognized institution.

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or healthcare setting.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminologies.

Other Requirements:

• Relevant certifications and licensing as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
