The Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by assisting with medication dispensing, inventory management, prescription processing, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately.
Process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient and inventory records.
Monitor inventory levels, receive stock, and report low or expired items.
Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Provide courteous customer service and support daily pharmacy operations.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician or a related field.
Valid registration/license with the appropriate regulatory body.
1-3 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
Strong knowledge of medication handling, prescriptions and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems is an added advantage.
