Job Summary

• The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent service at the checkout counter, and supporting smooth pharmacy operations.
• This role ensures efficient cash management, assists with basic customer inquiries, and maintains a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process sales transactions (cash, card, or electronic payments) using the POS system.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges in line with store policies.
• Assist customers with bagging or packaging their purchases.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and prepare daily cash reports.
• Support stock management by checking, labeling, and displaying items near the checkout counter.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS operations.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
