The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent service at the checkout counter, and supporting smooth pharmacy operations.
This role ensures efficient cash management, assists with basic customer inquiries, and maintains a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and process sales transactions (cash, card, or electronic payments) using the POS system.
Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges in line with store policies.
Assist customers with bagging or packaging their purchases.
Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and prepare daily cash reports.
Support stock management by checking, labeling, and displaying items near the checkout counter.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent.
Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS operations.
