• Procare Hospital, Abuja, is looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and working closely with medical professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications to patients accurately and safely.
• Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare providers on the safe use of medicines.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, proper dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Manage and maintain the hospital pharmacy inventory, ensuring availability of essential medications.
• Participate in the development of patient care plans with the medical team.
• Educate patients on medication management, including potential side effects and drug interactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain quality control of pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) to practice as a pharmacist.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and drug safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
