    Pharmacist

    Job Description:

    As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and providing personalized care to our customers. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable individual who is committed to upholding ethical standards and delivering outstanding service.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines.
    • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions, ensuring understanding and compliance.
    • Collaborate with pharmacologist, pharmacy ass, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
    • Monitor medication therapy for efficacy and safety, making recommendations for adjustments or changes as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles, allergies, and medical history.
    • Manage inventory levels and medication stock, ensuring adequate supply and proper storage conditions.
    • Conduct medication reviews and consultations with patients to identify and address medication-related issues, such as adherence or therapy optimization.
    • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
    • Additional advantage: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
    • Registered and licensed to practice pharmacy in Nigeria, with a valid pharmacist practicing license.
    • Completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and drug therapy principles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively counsel and educate patients.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
    • Availability to start on March 15th, 2024, and work full-time in the Festac area.

    Salary: N150,000 - 180,000 Gross/month.
