Pharmacist at Healthrite Pharmacy

Job Summary

• We are seeking for a Pharmacist who will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring that patients receive the medication they need.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of prescription orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
• Provide comprehensive drug information to walk-in clients, including dosages, proper usage, and potential side effects.
• Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and protocols related to medication management.
• Monitor the client’s responses to prescribed medications and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Participate in training and supervising pharmacy support staff to ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing and client interactions.
• Stay current with developments in pharmacology and healthcare regulations.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum of 2 yearsof relevant work experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Valid and up-to-date Pharmacy license from the appropriate regulatory body in Nigeria.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clear patient education.
• Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
