• Our client a premium health care hospital in Lekki is seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting and possess a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, practices, and patient care.
• Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock of medications and supplies.
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) services to enhance patient outcomes.
• Perform prescription verification to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay updated on new drugs, treatment protocols, and industry trends through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license
• 1-2 years of experience working as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and computer systems.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
