Personal Chef at TruPurpose Job Shop Limited

Responsibilities

• Plan & prepare meals for the family
• Ensure that all meals are properly prepared & presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
• Develop weekly menus in consultation with the family
• Shop for foodstuff & meal ingredients
• Clean & maintain the kitchen area & equipments
• Setting the table for the family
• Follow special requests & food preferences of the family.

Requirements

• Culinary certification is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years work experience as a Chef, or in a similar role
• Female/Male
• 30 - 50 years old
• MUST be willing to provide 2 suitable guarantors
• Good communication & organizational skills
• Hands-on experience with cooking a large variety of meals
• Hands-on experience with planning menus & ordering ingredients
• Familiarity with different cooking techniques
• Experienced in preparing local & continental dishes, including pastries & finger food
• Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently & to take direction from the family
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation & safety regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills & ability to build relationships with the family.
