  • Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

    We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and technology-savvy Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to provide effective administrative, coordination, and executive support to the Managing Director.

    Reports to: The Managing Director

    Department: Office of the Managing Director

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the Managing Director’s schedule, appointments, meetings, and daily engagements.
    • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and other logistics as required.
    • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, minutes, and other official documents.
    • Attend meetings as assigned, take accurate minutes, and document decisions and action points.
    • Follow up on assignments and directives issued by the Managing Director and provide timely updates.
    • Coordinate communication between the Managing Director and relevant departments, staff, branches, depots, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical records.
    • Handle confidential information and correspondence with a high level of discretion. 
    • Assist with research, information gathering, data compilation, and preparation of reports when required.
    • Follow up on operational assignments, including book printing, stocking, and timely delivery of book titles as directed by the Managing Director.
    • Support staff mobilization and coordination for the timely execution of assigned operational activities.
    • Provide general administrative and executive support to ensure the effective functioning of the Managing Director’s office.
    • Perform other duties and assignments as may be delegated by the Managing Director.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Office Technology and Management, Secretarial Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of Second Class Lower degree classification, subject to confirmation of the required classification.
    • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of on-the job experience.
    • Below 30 years of age.
    • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Administrative Officer, or in a similar role will be an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong technology and digital skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms.

    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

    Salary: #200,000 - #250,000 (Depending on Experience)
