    Payroll Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the payroll process for a large and complex workforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
    • Administer and process payroll for all employees, including calculating and processing regular and special payrolls such as expatriate payroll calculations.
    • Maintain and update employee payroll records and data, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times
    • Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports and documentation, including payslips, tax reports, and other payroll-related communications
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters, providing accurate and timely information and resolving any issues in a professional and efficient manner
    • Manage and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring that all processes and procedures are compliant at all times
    • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments as needed to ensure seamless and effective payroll processes and procedure

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
    • A minimum of 3 years payroll experience with a proven track record of managing complex payroll processes for a large and diverse workforce
    • Strong knowledge of payroll and tax legislation in Nigeria, including up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues in a timely and effective manner
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software applications, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion
