This role ensures top-tier painting quality by accurately following technical data sheets and SOPs, expertly operating painting equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Details
Adhere strictly to paint manufacturer specifications and SOPs for mixing and application.
Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, cleaning) to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
Operate spray guns and painting machines effectively to apply consistent, defect-free coatings.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
Perform visual quality checks and make touch-ups as needed to meet standards.
Requirements
Have at least an HND/OND qualification or a relevant Trade Test certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint application, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in spray painting, managing paint types, and achieving professional finishing on all painting projects.
Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and ability to follow SOPs.
Able to log time and activity via systems like GSS; reliable in recording work accurately.
