What You Can Expect

• The incumbent will be responsible for all activities involved in exporting products out of the FTZ and planning of deliveries to customers.
• This includes managing and coordinating all activities for outbound shipments quickly, safely, and within budget constraints.

Duties will include the following:

• Contract management with dedicated transport service providers
• Processing of service provider invoice with Account Payables and follow up on payment
• Ensure Service Level Agreement is in place for 3rd party logistics providers
• Benchmark services from 3rd party logistics providers
• Constant review of KPI of various vendors (FTZ clearing agents and logistics vendors) to ensure     constant efficiency in handling all deliverables
• Help decision makers make better decisions through consistent analysis of the clearing and distribution process
• Minimize delivery times and transportation costs while improving logistics tracking, execution, and    customer service
• Ensure timely clearance of products from the Free Trade Zone with dedicated service providers
• Manage the efficient flow of outbound products and materials between FTZ and customers
• Constant monitoring of the outbound distribution activities as well as trucking rates to proactively advise all internal stakeholders in cases of any issues
• Optimise routing and scheduling of deliveries
• Transport planning to meet all request for scheduled deliveries and ensuring stakeholders are updated
• Follow up with the logistics vendor and warehouse managers (Ilupeju & FTZ) for confirmation and prompt loading of the trucks at various sites
• Constant monitoring of truck locations and eventual delivery to the various customers
• Support the safe destruction of expired materials through the approved vendors
• Goods Receipt-Responsible for receipt of all imports into the warehouse
• Vetting of vendor invoices to confirm/ challenge delays (if applicable)
• Processing of invoices to Account payable and constant follow for prompt payment

What We Expect

• A tertiary qualification in Business, Science, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent tertiary education
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics and in the transport and warehousing Industry
• SAP experience and Microsoft Office computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills
