The Role:

• You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye and vision care, diagnosing disorders, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing ocular diseases.
• You will work collaboratively with our ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose vision problems, eye diseases, and systemic conditions with ocular manifestations.
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Offer guidance on eye exercises and vision therapy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate patients on ocular health and preventive care.
• Collaborate effectively with the medical and administrative teams.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven clinical experience.
• Valid license to practice as an Optometrist in Nigeria.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with modern optometric technology and equipment.
• A patient-centric approach and high ethical standards.
