Role Description

• :The Training Manager (Operations) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos/Port Harcourt/Abuja This role is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering training programs for operations staff, ensuring that employees understand standard operating procedures, and service quality expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Training Delivery & Instruction: Carry out periodic training across all delivery sites to supervisors and couriers.
• Needs Analysis: Engage operations managers and supervisors to identify knowledge and skill gaps before designing custom training modules.
• Effectiveness Tracking: Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from couriers and supervisors to assess the impact and ROI of training programs.
• Technology Proficiency: Train sites on how to navigate the logistics software and tracking tools
• Safety & Compliance: Liaise with managers to ensure strict adherence to best operational practices at delivery sites.
• Material Adaptation: Update training materials to reflect any changes in the company's operations procedures.
• Performance Evaluations: Design and administer assessment tests for trainees across all coverage to assess their understanding of the training.
• Compliance Maintenance: Ensure that all supervisors and couriers adhere to the company Standard Operating Procedure.
• Budget & Records: Maintain accurate records of training curriculums, supervisor & courier attendance, and calculate costs to ensure training stays within the sanctioned budget.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills, with experience designing and delivering operational training programs.
• Experience in logistics(express), supply chain, or operations environments, and familiarity with standard operating procedures and safety standards, is important.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to facilitate training sessions, provide clear instructions, and engage diverse teams.
• Candidates should possess good Analytical Skills to assess training needs, interpret performance data, and improve training content.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, last-mile delivery and Franchise Management system.
• Candidates should possess Employee Training experience.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field are beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are preferred.
