    Operations Supervisor - Parking Garage (IDU Railway Station)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the parking garage at IDU Railway Station.
    • The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer care, effective team leadership, and a commitment to transparency in their duties.
    • This role requires strong organizational skills, firm but fair management of staff, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Responsibilities
    Daily Operations Management:

    • Oversee and ensure smooth operation of parking services, including ticketing systems, traffic flow, and space utilization.
    • Monitor compliance with parking regulations and enforce policies.

    Customer Care:

    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
    • Implement measures to enhance the customer experience, ensuring a safe and efficient parking environment.

    Staff Supervision:

    • Lead, train, and supervise parking attendants and support staff.
    • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical practices.
    • Maintain a firm yet respectful approach in addressing staff performance issues.

    Transparency and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of daily revenue, transactions, and incident reports.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.

    Safety and Maintenance:

    • Conduct routine inspections of parking facilities to identify maintenance needs.
    • Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, and report any hazards promptly.

    Problem Solving:

    • Respond promptly to operational challenges, such as equipment malfunctions or disputes, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in parking operations, facilities management, or related fields.
    • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Firm yet fair approach to staff management and decision-making.
    • Commitment to transparency and ethical conduct in all activities.
    • Basic knowledge of parking management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
