Operations Lead, Export Related Commodities at Slice Africa

As the Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our export operations for key agricultural commodities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from sourcing to shipment, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and efficient movement of goods from farm to port.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems.
• Manage all export documentation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and standards.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in export operations, preferably in the agricultural commodities sector.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export procedures.
• Proven experience in managing supply chains and logistics operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and supply chain management software.  
• Experience with documentation for export.
• Knowledge of Nigerian export procedures.
