Offshore Installation Manager at Uniterm Nigeria Limited

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstration of HSE Leadership at all times to all personnel onboard.
• Ensuring that all personnel joining the vessel have been familiarized and inducted in accordance with WOUK policies & management systems and have been personally introduced to them.
• Safe execution and delivery of all the installation activities and operations in accordance with legislation, Site Safety Rules, Policies and Management System.
• Delivery of HSE expectations & targets as detailed within WOUK plans and objectives.
• Implementation & maintenance of a “coaching log” to record serious safety breaches and to monitor and initiate action against persistent offenders. 
• Implementation of the WOUK General Business Policies, including Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environmental Performance Policy, monitoring and motivating the crew on the observations of this policy, and issuing appropriate orders and instructions in a clear and simple manner and verifying that the specified requirements are observed.

Achieving Operational Excellence:

Ensuring that all non-marine operations and activities are: -

• Planned
• Covered by procedure     
• Adequately risk assessed
• Understood by all crew members involved in the task
• Reviewed to distil lessons learned  
• Subject to Management of Change in accordance with company procedures
• Managing the safe & efficient implementation of all vessel based procedures held within the WOUK Management System. 
• Monitoring personnel and materials movements to ensure there are no unnecessary delays to work programs or material change to the risks to the installation or its crew.
