    Office Manager

    (Automobile - OMA-1AB)  

    Our client, a company in the automobile manufacturing sector requires the services of an Office Manager/Administrator for immediate employment.

    Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Summary:

    The jobholder will essentially ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis, and oversee administrative and operational matters. Preferably, applicants should have worked in the capacity of administrative support/assistance or office operations in the automobile industry.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • office operations/administration
    • providing general support to visitors to the organization
    • ensuring prompt payment of bills relating to electricity, satellite TV and other utilities
    • supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
    • coordinating and planning Management meetings
    • people management, including vendors
    • facility management
    • helping to organize and schedule meetings/appointments
    • procurement covering office stationeries and other administrative equipment
    • managing correspondence, including channelling external complaints and queries to the appropriate quarters
    • managing the budget allocated to office operations/management
    • projecting a good and professional/brand image in the front office to  customers
    • any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time

    Education, skills& competencies required:

    • At least a first degree in a related discipline
    • A minimum of 4 years’ office management/administration experience, preferably in the automobile industry
    • Supply management experience
    • Budget expense management experience
    • Promoting process improvement
    • Inventory control
    • Reporting and interpersonal skills
    • Able to set priorities and multi-task
    • Advance-user of Ms Office Suite packages
    • Must be a hands-on person –ready to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done

    Proposed salary:

    A range between N120, 000 – N150, 000/m (based on experience).
