O&M Engineer Analyst at Rensource Energy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and performance-driven O&M Engineer Analyst to support the monitoring, performance analysis, and maintenance planning of renewable energy assets. The ideal candidate will help ensure that systems operate at peak performance through timely diagnostics, reporting, and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

This role is key to optimizing energy generation, reducing downtime, and maintaining the long-term health of clean energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor the performance of solar/hybrid energy systems using remote monitoring platforms (e.g., SCADA, SolarEdge, Fronius, Huawei, etc.).
• Identify performance issues, generation losses, or irregularities in system data.
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate issues to technical teams for resolution.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management and clients.
• Track KPIs such as system uptime, performance ratio (PR), and energy yield vs. forecast.
• Maintain service logs, fault records, and maintenance documentation for all assets.

Operations & Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with field technicians and third-party contractors for on-site maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure execution of scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to O&M plans.
• Support spare parts management and stock tracking.

Diagnostics & Technical Support

• Analyze inverter data, grid events, and component behavior to support technical troubleshooting.
• Support system health audits and performance tests.
• Propose system improvements or upgrades based on recurring issues and performance trends.

Key Objectives:

• Maximize uptime and energy output of installed renewable energy systems.
• Minimize system downtime through proactive performance monitoring and maintenance coordination.
• Deliver accurate performance analytics and insightful reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to long-term asset reliability and lifecycle cost optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering field.
• 2–3 years of experience in O&M or technical monitoring roles in renewable energy sector
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and monitoring platforms (e.g., Solar-Log, Solarman, Fronius, SCADA, etc.).
• Familiarity with solar PV components (inverters, batteries, charge controllers, meters).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• 7Willingness to travel to project sites when necessary.
