NYSC Graphics Design Intern at Softhills Limited

Job Description:

We are seeking a Graphics Designer (preferably ongoing NYSC), to join our team, who will be assisting in designing all things across our digital channels. Knowledge and proficiency in video creation will also be looked out for. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative video and graphics design within a short frame of time, and show amazing attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials
• Assist in Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval. 
• Assist in finishing art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Assist in creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop, CorelDraw, 
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Must be a Current NYSC serving member 
•  Must be a creative designer enthusiast 
• Experience in graphics 
• Excellent analytical skills 
• Must possess demonstrable graphic design skills 
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. 
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Strong creative design skills and be familiar with various design technologies. 
•  An impressive creative portfolio that clearly shows knowledge and execution of good design, strong, polished aesthetic, meticulous sense of detail, and knowledge of layouts, grids, graphic fundamentals, proportion, perspective, composition, typography, color theory, print, and online concepts.
•  Exceptional knowledge of design and production software including Adobe Suite and others
