Nurse Educator / Instructor at Ascentech Services Limited

Purpose

• To lead the development and delivery of nursing education, competency assessment, clinical training, and professional development programmes that strengthen nursing practice and patient safety.

Job Description

• Develop and deliver structured clinical training and competency-based programmes for nursing staff.
• Conduct skills assessments, clinical competency evaluations, orientation, and continuing professional development activities.
• Identify nursing knowledge and competency gaps and develop targeted interventions.
• Develop and review clinical guidelines, training materials, and educational resources.
• Support accreditation, clinical audits, quality improvement, and evidence-based nursing practice across the hospital.

Key Requirements

• Registered Nurse with relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree and recognised nursing education qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical nursing experience, with substantial experience in nursing education or clinical leadership.
• Proven experience developing and facilitating clinical training programmes.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice, patient safety, clinical governance, and competency assessment.
• Excellent teaching, mentoring, communication, and leadership skills.
