NOC Operators at IPT Powertech

Position Summary:

• NOC operators are responsible for real-time monitoring of network infrastructure and ensuring prompt escalation and resolution of network alarms and service disruptions.
• The role supports network uptime, service quality, and operational efficiency through continuous surveillance and coordination with field and technical teams.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2—3 years' experience in a Network Operations Center or telecom environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of telecom infrastructure and network operations.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Willingness to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems, alarms, and performance dashboards.
• Identify, log, and escalate faults in line with SLA and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers and Technical Teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and update ticketing systems.
• Track downtime and ensure proper closure of trouble tickets.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to escalation matrix and communication protocols.
