Our client is a multinational shipping/logistics Group of companies.

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a MS Active Directory Environment for over 250 users
• Design, manage and maintain group policies and access rights to File System
• Act as Server Administrator for 20+ MS Physical and Virtual Servers embedded in a cluster-based MS Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure on Windows Server 2012/2016 running on HP ServersIIS 7.0
• Support implementing clustering between two or more HyperView virtual machines
• Administer all Cisco equipment, including switches, routers, VPN, and security appliances
• Serve as MS Exchange Administrator for 200+ user accounts based on MS Exchange 2013 (non-mandatory)
• Maintain multiple SQL Servers (MS SQL 2016), Network Monitor Servers, backup servers, Document Imaging systems
• Maintain/Upgrade network equipment and server OS as needed to support workflow management
• Monitor daily backups, antivirus status, shared storage space and network activities
• Sound experience on Sophos FireWall Management:
• Make recommendations on existing projects to improve network security
• Experience with management of DMZ and communication between internal and DMZ servers
• Monitors network performance and implements performance tuning when necessary
• Provide network security Support
• Manage firewall/security systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
• Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum of 2nd Class Upper) or HND (minimum of Upper Credit) in Computer Science, Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Systems etc.
• At least 7-year experience in this capacity in a reputable company
• 5-year experience with MS Hyper-V virtualization network architecture
• 5-year experience with MS SQL/Exchange Servers
• 5-year experience with Sophos Firewall management
• 5-year experience in Cisco Switches/Routers management
• Ideally, the candidate should have MS/Cisco/Sophos Certification etc
