    National Retail Sales Manager

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a National Retail Sales Manager based in Lagos. The National Retail Sales Manager will oversee retail operations, develop sales strategies, and guide teams to achieve revenue targets. They will manage relationships with customers, ensure a high-quality customer experience, and facilitate efficient communication between team members. The role also includes expanding the customer base, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing plans to improve sales outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in Retail Sales and Sales management
    • Exceptional Communication skills to foster seamless collaboration and relationship building
    • Excellent Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to enhance satisfaction and engagement
    • Proven ability to meet targets and lead sales teams effectively
    • Proficiency in analyzing sales data and developing actionable insights
    • Adaptability and leadership skills to manage dynamic retail environments
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is preferred
    • Previous experience in the book retail or related industries is an added advantage
    • Develop and execute national sales strategies to drive revenue and market expansion
    • Lead, coach, and manage regional and store-level sales teams
    • Set sales targets, track performance, and ensure achievement across all locations
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategy
    • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and inventory teams to optimize sales performance
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate and institutional clients
    • Prepare regular sales reports and present insights to executive management

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience in retail and/or publishing Firm.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory sales role
    • Extensive hands-on sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
    • Experience managing multi-location or regional sales teams
    • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret sales reports
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
