JOB SUMMARY

The Nanny will Provide complete care for the children in the employer's home and perform all tasks that correlate to the care of the children which will include involvement in the children’s educational activities and all round development . To create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Teacher’s grade II certificate
• Additional certification in child care will be an added advantage
• Proven child care experience with verifiable references
• The right candidate must be flexible
• Must have ability to adapt to new environments and situations
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages
• Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children
• Must have a pleasant and patient personality
• Must be emotionally mature
• Must have excellent judgment skills
• Must have excellent planning and organization skills
• High stress tolerance
• Must have high energy level

DUTIES

• Organize creative activities and educational games
• Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding for babies)
• Grooming of children
• Schedule nap times
• Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores
• Be involved in children’s extracurricular activities
• Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms
• Assist young students with homework
• Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities
• Take care of children in case of injury or illness
• Perform housekeeping tasks as needed
• Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development
