Job Description

• We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Mid-Level Motion Designer to join our team and help bring ideas to life through compelling motion graphics and animations. You’ll work closely with our design, product, and marketing teams to produce engaging content across digital platforms that elevates our brand and connects with our audience.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital campaigns, product explainers, UI animations, and social media.
• Translate storyboards, scripts, and concepts into visually stunning animations.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, marketers, and developers to deliver cohesive and impactful motion content.
• Contribute to the evolution of our motion design style and visual language.
• Ensure all animations and videos meet brand standards and project timelines.
• Stay current with motion design trends, tools, and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
• Edit and enhance video footage as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in motion design, animation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Figma for UI animations).
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of motion design work.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must have an NYSC exemption/discharge certificate

Nice to Have

• Experience in UI/UX motion design or animating within digital product interfaces.
• Familiarity with sound design and video editing.
• Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., expressions in After Effects).
• Experience working in a startup or creative agency.
