Job Description

• LearnlyApp is seeking for a skilled Mid-Level WordPress Developer to design, implement, and maintain WordPress-based websites and applications.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress core, theme development, plugin development, and best practices in web development.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize existing WordPress themes to meet client requirements
• Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and services
• Optimize WordPress sites for performance and security
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with WordPress core, including hooks, actions, and filters
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi)
• Knowledge of WooCommerce development
• Familiarity with REST API and headless WordPress setups
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
