    Mid-Level Product Designer (Contract)

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Product Designer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in product design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that drive user engagement and enhance our product offerings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design Development: Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
    • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
    • Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
    • Design Systems: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across products.
    • Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, team members, and stakeholders.
    • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design quality.

    Qualifications and Skills

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years experience in product design, preferably in a similar industry.
    • Proven track record of designing successful digital products.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

    Portfolio:

    • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating your design process from concept to completion.

    Skills:

    • Design Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
    • UX/UI Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex design challenges.
    • Collaboration: Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality design outputs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
    • Animation: Experience with motion design and animation tools.
    • Analytics: Ability to interpret user data and analytics to inform design decisions.
