Principal Accountabilities

• Established research and writing capabilities
• Drafted demand letters, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Taken/defended depositions
• Prepare Legal advice and opinions
• Prepare legal opinions and reports on a wide variety of issues with limited supervision
• Taking responsibility for daily management of instructions; Ability to conceptualize facts and review applicable law for an in-depth analysis of issues
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
• Strategically counsel clients and potential clients on legal matters
• Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues
• Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters
• Remain current on federal and state laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business
• Manage relationships and collaborate with co-counsel

Qualifications / Skills

• LL.M with exceptional academic credentials
• 3-5 years of experience at a law firm or within an in-house legal department
• Must possess a strong academic record from a top law school
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism
• Ability to work in teams
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
