Microsoft Dynamics 365 NAV/BC Developer at Zetamind Consulting

Tasks

• Build high-quality and future-proof software solutions from requirements that are tailored to the needs of the user and the industry or customer
• Focus on the design, Requirements gathering, effort estimation, detailed conceptual design, development/ Implementation, Developer Testing, Automated Testing
• Developer documentation, user documentation, versioning and deployment
• Supervision of the commissioning of new versions, features or customer-specific requirements

Your role

• Ability to work with a customized solution under minimum supervision.
• NAV upgrade experience and NAV Integration with other apps/add-ons experience is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with SQL server stored procedures development and SQL SSRS is a plus.
• Reporting integration experience with Jet Reports, and Power BI is a plus.
• Configuring new features/functionalities within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central module
• Designing, modeling, developing, testing, and writing automated tests of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities based on company-specific requirements
• Evaluate functionality based on value vs effort scale
• Understand and refine client requirements
• Experience in solving problems, being able to analyze tasks of different complexity
• Understanding the full scope of the project and sharing knowledge within the team, communicating any blocking situations
• Plan and prioritize own work activities, responding to manager’s requirements in addition to own responsibilities, to ensure operational efficiency
• Resolve issues and queries independently; provide advice and recommend alternative courses of action including escalation if unable to assist.

Qualifications

Must have:

• 3+ years of development experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC (ERP software)
• C/SIDE-CAL, AL languages experience is a must.
• Experience with Test-Driven-Development
• Experience in the connection of APIs
• In-depth knowledge and experience in AL and/or C/AL, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Git
• Very good communication skills, optimally proficient in English (read, write, speak).
• Team player with a strong willingness to tackle things together
• Availability to travel if needed
