Job Description

• A health care expert that will be responsible for conducting tests on body fluids, tissues, and cells samples to help diagnose and treat patients in order to achieve pregnancies.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood samples from clients and receiving of specimen from other units (blood, urine, histology)
• Maintenance of Laboratory equipment to ensure that all necessary lab equipment is working well
• Carry out Haematological analysis
• Run Hormonal Assays
• KFT Analysis
• LFT Analysis
• Perform semen analysis and other tests
• Screening of blood samples for HIV, MP, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, Blood Group, Genotype, and infectious disease
• Analyzing blood samples for FBC, Electrolytes, Urea, Creatinine, and Bilirubin
• Do an inventory of supplies and request for purchases of necessary supplies
• Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of the Laboratory
• Computation and timely reporting of patients results to a requesting unit
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Laboratory Scientist.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
