Role Summary:
As the Medical Director you will provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the medical staff, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and patient safety guidelines in all aspects of hospital operations.
• Represent the hospital in external forums, including professional associations, regulatory agencies, and community outreach events.
• Foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to patient care, promoting communication and teamwork among medical staff members.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with extensive clinical experience.
• Valid medical license to practice as a physician in Nigeria.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
