Media Assistant at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

DUTIES:

• Conduct interviews for Institutional and official functions.
• Assist with content generation for Tiktok videos.
• Generate and write stories for the institutional newsletters (bulletin and Talking Drums).
• Provide intranet content for the web team.
• Curate posts for the IITA TV social media platforms.
• Provide communication backstopping for exhibitions, events and institutional activities.
• Generate content and produce the AgNovation series for IITA TV.
• Provide support for visitors and guests.
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:                        

BSc/HND in Mass communication, Marketing, Communication and Language Arts or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Have excellent reporting skills.
• Have ability to coordinate, prioritize and organize workload.
