Media and Communications Officer (MCO) at ColdHubs Limited

• We seek to hire a full-time MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (MCO). The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER (CISM), undertaking our digital and social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the CISM, to plan, prepare and implement public relations and institutional communication programs designed to make ColdHubs Limited better known by various audiences, and to establish and maintain ColdHubs credibility and good reputation as Nigeria’s leading cold chain company.
• Supports the identification and development of effective messages for dissemination to relevant target audiences and stakeholders.
• Supports the development and dissemination of ColdHubs monthly newsletter – N’Chekwa.
• Use of various graphics design software – Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.
• Use of various video and radio editing software - Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition etc.
• Generate powerful graphic designs for digital marketing.
• Updating of all social media platforms:
• Facebook – 3 Digital Marketing messages per day.
• Twitter – 3 Digital Marketing messages per day.
• Instagram – 3 Digital Marketing pictures per day.
• YouTube – 1 Digital Marketing and Educational Video per week.
• Radio – 1 Digital Marketing and Educational Podcast per week.
• Generate atleast 1,000 likes per month across all ColdHubs social media channels.
• Use digital camera (photos & videos) to cover official functions, events, and field trips.
• Supports the management and updating of ColdHubs Limited’s website.
• Supports ColdHubs printing works.
• Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: University Degree in Mass Communication, Graphics Design, Computer Science, or ICT and communication related field OR university degree in another field combined with a professional qualification in communications.

Job experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of English.
• Out-of-the-box thinker, innovative, creative, entrepreneurial.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail.
• Excellent organizational skills, as performance monitoring, will be done every quarter.
