Mechanical Technician at Handyware Industries Limited

Responsibilities

• Resolve all technical maintenance issues and recommend improvement if required
• Ensure all downtimes are eliminated or reduced
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or mechanical equipment, appliances, and machinery
• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Supervising machine operators
• Installing and performing diagnostics tests on mechanic systems
• Documenting the machine's fault for proper preventive maintenance and keeping maintenance or services records
• Training co-workers on the safe and adhering to industry regulations
• Maintain an efficient and safe working environment for all employees 
• Resolve all maintenance issues and recommend improvements to same if required

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, or Technical education background is required
• 3yrs+ experience as a mechanical engineer in the manufacturing or food and beverage sector
• Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment
• Apt attention to details
• Excellent morals and work ethics
• Quick to make sound decisions
• Apt analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently
