Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Jaykay Group

Role Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer preferably one who has worked in a manufacturing company to oversee operation of mechanical systems and equipment.
• This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.
• This role requires a strong technical background, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in the manufacturing industries.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Computer knowledge is an added advantage.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Performing physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders.
• Ability to work in conditions involving dust, fumes, and moderate to loud noises.
