Job Summary

• The Mechanical Field Service Technician will be responsible for the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of generators and other mechanical systems.
• The role requires ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime across client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out generator overhaul, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components
• Diagnose faults and perform both corrective and preventive maintenance
• Conduct site inspections, routine servicing, and performance evaluations of generator systems
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and proper handling of equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed maintenance reports

Requirements

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in generator maintenance, overhaul, and mechanical servicing
• Professional certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is an added advantage
• Prior experience with power generation companies or reputable generator service workshops
• Strong technical knowledge of generator systems, fault diagnosis, and mechanical repairs.
